Surreal

I was playing around with the new camera and decided to take some outdoor photos on this gray rainy day. Here is the most interesting of the lot. I planted this Bleeding Heart about 12 years ago. Over that time the bushes around it grew into it's space but the little plant remains happy and healthy, bringing forth an abundance of flowers every spring. There is a lot to be said for being happy where you are planted.

The past few days have been interesting. My normally very quiet place here on the internet has been busy. It seems I have been linked to by a much larger site. So, Hello. Nice to see you. Thanks so much for the comments.

So the knitting. The sleeve for the Gathered Pullover is still in limbo. I put the stitches on a piece of yarn and tried it on. It fits fairly well but I decided to add a couple more inches of length and a few more increases. It's to be seen how these little changes will effect their fitting into the body of the sweater which I also altered a bit. At this point I think it's time I seam up the shoulders and put the first sleeve in and see exactly how it is before I commit to knitting another sleeve. Are you sure this is your favorite knitted garment ever Beth ? I'm feeling decidedly ambivalent myself.

Speaking of Beth . Did you know that today is her Blogiversary? Be sure to pop on over and wish her a happy one.

Yes - I'm quite sure. Even better than Rogue. Better than Watermelon socks. Better than...well, you get the picture. Lutea - not so much, so it couldn't just be the yarn.
