Rainy Day
After having the most beautiful spring weather last week we are paying for it this week with cooler temperatures and rain. As you can see from the photo the grass is starting to green up a bit. At least it looks like spring even if it doesn't feel like it.
Hanging there in the middle of the window is the first sleeve for the Gathered Pullover. I haven't decided if it's staying or going yet. I like the way it fits from the elbow down. It's got just enough bell at the wrist to be cool and cute. The upper arm is more fitted, probably more fitted than it should be but the yarn is quite stretchy so there is a chance I could block it the way I want it. I haven't made up my mind if I want to rip it back to the increases and add just a couple more a little quicker. Decisions. Decisions.
Our weather has also turned to coolness and rain. i can't wait to see your
gather pullover when its done-you have made it quite suspenseful :) :) but
i hope it works out for you.
The fit near my shoulder is pretty close. Not uncomfortable, but not
oversized like the rest of it. It wouldn't take long to add a couple
increases near the cap.
Yo are moving right along on that sweater! I think the yarn I just bought
is the same color! I love it! We had almost 3 inches of rain in the last
day and a half! At the moment the sun is out and shining, but it is COLD!
Keep up the good work.
Rained like crazy here, too. They keep saying we need it. Then they put
up the flood watches. I'm very confused. And soggy...
