A Treat

Yesterday I got the prize I won in Kate's contest. Look at all the goodies she included. First there is the beautiful Cherry Tree Hill yarn in tropical storm. The color is stunning in person. Next we have needles in size 1, my favorite sock knitting size and yummy cocoa that is gone. Yes, that fast! I shared. The final thing was a very kind heartfelt note. But do you know the absolute best part of this whole thing: Kate delivered it herself, right to my front door. This is the first time I have met one of my imaginary blog friends and it was good. She's so cute and sweet and best of all a real person! Now every time I read her blog I will see her face in my mind and hear her voice. Isn't that the coolest thing! Thanks so much Kate!!! 

Because I am very weak and easily wooed by soft new yarn I got my yarn winder right out and got that Cherry Tree Hill ready to go and I kind of casted on and started some socks. Jaywalker socks to be specific. It was the peer pressure. Have you seen all the Jaywalkers in blogland?? Photos next time.
